Botanic Gardens of Sydney
Our partnership with the Botanic Gardens of Sydney celebrates the Hotels unique connection to the Botanic Gardens and combines the perfect blend of luxury and natural beauty. Two of the city’s most iconic landmarks have joined forces to curate a captivating series of initiatives and events for our guests, employees, and the wider community.
Building on our longstanding association, this partnership solidifies InterContinental Sydney’s commitment to the preservation of the Botanic Gardens. We are honored to be designated as the Gardens’ preferred accommodation partner, emphasising our dedication to their protection and enhancement. Our hotel guests will also enjoy privileged access to events within the gardens.
This collaboration not only elevates the guest experience at InterContinental Sydney but also contributes to the support and enhancement of Sydney’s most distinguished and historic green space.
Botanic Gardens Package
To mark the partnership, InterContinental Sydney has released the Botanic Gardens Package which features experiences and amenities that celebrate the beauty and native flora of the hotel’s surrounding green space.
This package includes a relaxing stay in one of the hotel’s luxuriously appointed East Harbour rooms with views overlooking the Gardens, a welcome cocktail for two in The Treasury called ‘The Tree of Life’, which pays homage to the gardens, breakfast for two in The Conservatory and a choice between four guided Garden walks – Aboriginal Bush Tucker Tour, Astronomy at The Calyx Tour, Ghostly Garden Tour and Aboriginal Harbour Heritage Tour.
Protecting and preserving the Gardens
Botanic Gardens of Sydney encompasses three world-leading botanic gardens, Australia’s premier botanical research institute, and Sydney’s leading outdoor activation precinct. InterContinental Sydney’s partnership with the Botanic Gardens of Sydney will help protect the Garden’s Living Collection, which conserves thousands of plants including rare and endangered species. The hotel’s contribution will also go towards the Garden’s important education programs that work to inspire and empower communities through science, cultural and horticultural knowledge.
