Situated on Level Two of InterContinental Sydney, the Banksia and Casuarina Rooms are interconnected twin event spaces, offering versatile options for small conferences, workshops, media briefings, or larger groups. Each room can be booked individually, together for multi-group workshops or breakout sessions, or in conjunction with the Boronia Ballroom as additional breakout spaces. Interconnecting doors between the rooms and to the ballroom provide seamless flow and flexibility for any event layout.

Banksia & Casuarina Rooms

Step inside the Banksia & Casuarina Rooms, where old-world glamour and sleek modern style collide. Both function spaces feature stunning art deco-style chandeliers, and a chic neutral palette of cream, white and dove grey, lending them to all manner of embellishments and uses – from product launches and media showcases to conference breakout sessions.

Heritage emerald marble fireplaces and concealed built-in TVs bookend each room, making them ideal meeting rooms for small workshops and presentations.

The Banksia Room includes a small lobby entrance. The larger Casuarina Room can interconnect with the Ballroom, and may also be hired to include a smaller preparatory room located off this grand ballroom.
